Fastcast resin. (Easyflow) A polyurethane resin which is mixed 1:1. Fastcast has a working time of 5 - 6 minutes and can be demoulded at about 20 minutes. Ideal for making prototypes and small or decorative castings and often used with RTV silicone moulds (no release agent is needed with silicone). Metal powders for cold-cast bronze, etc. can be added and marble powder (next item in list) can be added up to 50% by weight to reduce heat build-up and to increase impact resistance, etc. Produces a stronger, more resilient casting than other resins. Utensils can be cleaned in warm water and washing-up liquid while the resin is still fluid.
