The Clay Tool Dampening Sponge is pre-moistened with Smoothing Fluid. Use to control the amount of Smoothing Fluid that is applied to the sculpted piece, thus preventing over wetting of the clay. The volume of fluid delivered depends on the tools being used and the pressure applied to the sponge.
